Soccer Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Lost Dog in Mexico to $$20k
Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the bounty for details concerning the missing dog named Halo to $20,000.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now is with Pumas UNAM in the capital, stated that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.
The beagle, who disappeared on October 9th, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey shared a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of news about our beloved Halo please contact us. Big incentive for finding her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and comes home to our side shortly," Ramsey wrote on social media.
Initial Offer and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey first disclosed that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has subsequently posted several photos of the beloved pet on Instagram.
A $$10k bounty was first provided, but with lack of updates on Halo's whereabouts after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the sum.
"We just want our girl returned," he said in an additional plea on social media after the elderly dog was lost.
A recent image share is a black and white snapshot of Halo napping, her head lying in the curve of Ramsey's arm, with the caption: "What I wouldn't give to hold you once more sweet Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Background
Ramsey has also posted a statement from his spouse Colleen on social media indicating they have some "pressing concerns" regarding the disappearance and are concerned the family "may never get answers".
"We still are still searching for Halo. I fear we ever will," the spouse's message expressed.
The Wales skipper signed with Mexican top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his debut in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
