Barcelona Set to Play First Fixture at Upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. They will welcome the Basque side in domestic competition 30 months after they moved out to allow renovations to start.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
The stadium will not be at full capacity but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed finished work included an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.
